Unbridled. Unafraid. Unchained.

Have you ever thought, despite your slips and falls, that God looks at you past all your sin and shame, and sees you as holy and fully deserving of His love and grace?

Oh, what a crazy thing that is. How can His grace reach that far?
Because my sweet friend, please understand that He willingly died for you knowing that you may never love Him back. Isn’t that something worth pondering and wrestling over? Someday, we will recognize Him… in His full glory and no longer see Him as whatever mental picture our minds have created. And when we fall right at His feet in his physical presence, don’t you think that it will just click? It will all make sense… all the hurt you have ever faced, every mountain you have ever climbed, and all the oceans you felt drowned by, will all made perfect and understood in the presence of your creator.

My friend, let’s talk about life. Let’s talk about how you feel pummeled by life’s biggest questions and the weariness of an exhausted heart. While you are waiting, the strength of your weariness is sometimes too much to bear. Whatever strength that you can muster up, run to your creator and the grace that surpasses the understanding of the most intellectual mind. Don’t be afraid to arrive burdened, broken, and carrying a web full of worries, tears, and worldly desires. Be ready to throw it off your back and lay it right at the feet of your sweet Jesus.

I know you long to love Him… and sometimes you feel like you are in a place where you wish to love Him, but that motivation is just simply nonexistent. Trust me, I get it. I’ve experienced it, wrestled through it and came out victorious, abounding in joy, and desiring every good, and perfect thing He provides. You are more than a conqueror in Christ who gave Himself for you, and you need to trust him and His faithfulness just as much as you long to love him. So often, these battles we face are a secret process… demanding that there are to be no onlookers. Demanding that there is to be nobody, but the king Himself to guide you along the path that seems nearly impossible and beyond painful. Let Him be your hiding place in the silent battles that you face, because your stillness in chaos is the path God has chosen specifically for you, and the most valuable tool on the journey you are embarking on. Please know that it is okay to feel insufficient and unequipped… it just means that God is still at work, and will continue to be until the day that you become one with Him in your forever home. He refines you in His fire, and rebuilds you upon the cross of His beloved sacrificed son. The one who refines you knows you more in depth than you could ever know yourself, so please don’t be afraid to lay it down at the feet of the one who knows, deeper than any ocean, every ache of your heart, every desire, and every tear you have ever cried. Please have hope, my sweet friend, because so often, we need the desert wastes to gain perspective on His beautiful plan. If He could leave the grave behind him, so should you.

Please know, even after all doubt and fear, that your creator sees in you a strength beyond what your mind can even wrap itself around. He sees in you a heart full of grace that is abounding in relentless joy. He sees you as a new creation, loved, made whole, beautiful, redeemed, forgiven, victorious, and the list could go on forever. He doesn’t see us as we see ourselves… He sees us as we will be when all of our stains and defilements of the journey are already washed away. I know that some of you are struggling to find the joy that is within the heart of your creator, but you will find it. I promise. Run back into the arms of grace, because you are more than victorious in Him who is more than sufficient for your struggling, yet hopeful heart.

Run free and live wild, my darling, because your chains no longer have a hold on you.
